The study is to examined the relationship between mothers’ nutritional knowledge and practices and their
relationship with children’s food habits in Delta North Senatorial District. Four (4) research questions
guided this study. The study tested one null hypothesis. The study adopted a survey research design. The
population was six hundred and twenty-one thousand, three hundred and six (621,306) mothers within the
childbearing age in Delta North Senatorial District. A sample of 300 mothers were selected for the study
using the multi-stage sampling technique. The instrument for data collection in this study was a structured
questionnaire.
